| The Okehampton District Ring & Ride and Community Car Service is a community led scheme supported by Devon County Council and West Devon Borough Council to provide transport for the local rural community and for people who find it physically difficult to use conventional public transport, the frail elderly and those who are rurally isolated. |
| The Community Car Scheme complements the Ring & Ride service and provides for more individual one off journeys for the purpose of social visits, hospital visiting, doctors, dentists and chiropody appointments etc. Transport is provided by volunteer drivers using their own vehicles. |
| We would like to help everyone to access healthcare and social events, particularly those rurally isolated. Perhaps you would like to visit the Cinema in Okehampton or attend swimming or exercise sessions. Please speak to us about any other requirements and we will do our best to provide transport. |
